“Chanteuse de l’extrême douceur, auteur à la poésie sombre et caressante, Pascale Borel est la voix inoubliable du groupe Mikado, ovni pop de la fin des années 80.
En 2005 sort son premier album solo, “Oserai-je t’aimer?” chez Pschent/Wagram, en collaboration étroite avec l’auteur-compositeur Jérémie Lefebvre. On y découvre une approche résolument glamour de la culture (”J’aime tellement Proust”, “Alicante”), un duo sur la peur de grandir (”12 ans”), des ballades fragiles sur l’amour, sur le charme étrange de la bourgeoisie bordelaise, sur l’espoir de se réincarner en vache, sans oublier la métamorphose du “Into the groove” de Madonna en berceuse extatique, à mi-chemin entre le feu de camp et la musique de restaurant chinois…
En 2006-2007, Pascale s’offre un duel à la Desperate Housewifes en duo avec Valérie Lemercier dans “J’ai un mari”, et prépare un nouvel album… “
